05/10/09: Something important I thought of the other day.
Obviously characters who are not in the same country can't teleport to eachother to talk face-to-face. If you want to RP with someone who isn't in the same country as you, make the RP a phonecall instead of a face to face conversation or event.
This brings me to my next point. In order for everyone to know if your character is out of the United States, please put it in your status. If you do not put this up, others are right to assume that you are in the US by default. This will be added to the rules.

05/09/09: Mia's been inactive lately due to account problems. She's going to make a new account soon, so everyone needs to add the new one and delete the old. I'll update the account page when she makes it, so be ready to check.

03/27/09: No one showed up except for Adrian and Franziska. I'm pretty disappointed...
For the people who notified us that you wouldn't be able to go, it's perfectly fine. I'm just sad that those who either said they were able to go or said nothing didn't go on. The date will be moved, but it hasn't been decided yet. It will be some time from now, though.
How to join
Send a note to the club containing:
1. The character you'd like to roleplay
2. Your timezone
3. An example of how you'd roleplay this character.
4. Also, if you would like to be anonymous, please let us know. Otherwise, we'll put your deviantART account on the account page.
For the roleplaying example, I'd like a fair sized paragraph, 5-7 sentences or even more, if you'd like. It can be a monologue about anything, something or someone they love, their job, etc.
If you're accepted, send us a note back containing your character's username, watch the club, and please put either :icon ace-yahoo-attorneys: or :dev ace-yahoo-attorneys: (minus spaces) in your journal or signature.
Rules
1. Stay in character! Whenever you comment out of character show that you are in some way, such as double parenthesis.
2. Always be kind to others, unless if you're in character as someone rude or mean.
3. No breaking the fourth wall! What I mean is, your character cannot see any ooc comments!
4. Please use proper grammar! It looks much nicer. I don't care if you make mistakes, just show that you're trying. Also, please don't make your character say things like "LOL, U R SO 1337" etc unless if you're Sal Manela.
5. If your character is out of the United States, please put a notice in your status message. The default location will be the US, so if you do not have a location status message you'll be assumed to be there.
6. PLEASE try to be active! It's no fun if no one is ever online!
The characters are either face to face with eachother or on the phone. You can use actions along with dialogue to make an interesting rp.
Also, you can go wild with pairings; they can be canon or crack. Just please LET US KNOW.
Also, all dead characters are alive again, and all of the criminals are out of jail.

If you and someone else had a chat you think was really awesome and you'd like to share it, just copy and paste and send it to either Maya or Mia's accounts. Please bold the names; we won't submit it if you don't do this. ( < b > Name: < / b > without spaces)
